February 10, Principal’s Update

Dear CMS Families,

Thank you to Ms. Shea and Ms. Moran for leading our CMS Green Team. This past Saturday CMS students participated in the Concord Cooler Fair and due to the great participation of CMS families, we earned $500 toward the continuing work of this great club.

This evening, our seventh graders will be hosting a 6/7 grade dance to support Water for South Sudan, a nonprofit organization started by Salva Dut, that helps the villages of South Sudan get access to clean water. Water for South Sudan changes lives.  They drill wells that provide a constant flow of clean healthy water for the South Sudanese. The dance will be held tonight from 7:00 – 9:00 PM in the Sanborn cafeteria. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door. It is a Valentine’s day theme, so wear as much red and pink as you can find.

Our Instructional Technology Specialist, Ms. Talbot has created Technology Tips for Parents. This is the first installment of an on-going Tech Newsletter that will provide information and tips for parents. It can also be found on the CMS Technology web page.
