Principal’s Update, September 23
Dear CMS Families,
Happy first weekend of Fall!
Due to the tremendous turnout, the CMS Drama Department has decided to amend its fall play production. “The Lorax” will be a 6th and 7th-grade play. This will tie in nicely with our Spring production of Seussical. 8th graders will put on a production of scenes from “Diary of Anne Frank” which fits very well with the holocaust unit that they will learn about in the Spring through the Facing History Curriculum. Both shows will debut in November.
Any 6th-grade families who have not returned Merrowvista paperwork, please remember to do this on Monday. The deadline passed a week ago. We need to be able to appropriately plan for the experience.
Sanborn’s Back to School Night is this coming Thursday evening. Parents, please bring a copy of your student’s schedule. We will follow an amended C-day schedule.
