Concord Castaways: It’s the last week and it’s time to escape the island!! This week is a little different. Tribes must complete 4 tasks to earn the 4 Escape Cards. Flag football meets on Mondays for 6th graders and on Wednesdays for ⅞ graders. We will meet on the Sanborn field until 4:30.
Intramural Field Hockey meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 at Sanborn. Please bring goggles, mouthguards and shin guards to practice.
The Animals and Planet club meets every other Wednesday. We will meet TODAY from 2:30-3:40. Animal and Planet club is part of Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots organization. We create and plan projects that make positive changes happen for animals, the environment and our communities. Come with your ideas for this year! Last year we planned the Silent Auction and Photo Contest to help the fisher and migratory birds at Drumlin Farm’s Wildlife Sanctuary (check out animalsandplanet.weebly.com). In past year’s we have also helped NEADS, Buddy Dog and Nevin’s Farm. Contact Ms. Peskin or any member of Animals and Planet with questions. Plan to take the 3:40 late bus or have a parent pick you up at 3:40.
Dungeon and Dragons meets every Wednesday in room 119 at Sanborn from 2:30-4:30,
Math Team meets Thursday, September 29 in room 205 from 2:30-3:40.
Ultimate Frisbee meets every Thursday and Friday at Sanborn from 2:30-4:30.
Model UN will meet for the first time on Thursday, September 29 from 2:30-3:40 in the Sanborn Library. Any students in grades 6-8 are welcome to attend. Please see Mr. Robbins or Mr. Murphy with any questions.

Math Counts meets every Friday at Sanborn in room 101 from 2:30 to 3:40. Students who enjoy mathematics prepare for and participate in a regional math tournament solving problems as a team and as individuals. Success can lead to state and national tournaments. Advisor: Aram Boornazian
