Come cheer on the Concord-Carlisle Patriots at their home-opening football game, September 9 at
6:00 pm (note the early start time!) at Memorial Stadium!  While you’re there, celebrate The Scholarship Fund of Concord and Carlisle’s 50th anniversary of helping students to attend college by buying tickets to the 50/50 raffle. Raffle pricing will be $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 6 tickets and $10 for 15 tickets. Lego Robotics:   There will be an informational meeting on Friday for all who are interested in participating in the First Lego League Robotics Competition.  The meeting will be at Sanborn in Room 108 from 2:30 – 3:30.  Regular meetings will be every Thursday and Friday from 2:30 – 4:30.  If you have any questions contact Ms. Moss at smoss@concordps.org for more information.

Art Club starts Monday, September 26 and will meet in Ms. Shea’s Art Room at Sanborn every Monday until 3:40 for six meetings. Everyone is welcome to stretch, explore and share! Sign up sheets will be posted now through Wednesday outside the office at Sanborn and in the office at Peabody.

The CMS Honors Choir Auditions has begun and will continue throughout the month of September. There will be an information session for new students on Monday, September 5th in the Sanborn Auditorium from 2:30-3:30pm. 7th and 8th graders can sign-up for interscholastic soccer and field hockey.  Sign-up sheets are near the main office in each building.  Try-outs begin September 7 at Sanborn and run from 2:30-4:30.  Students must have a physical and a tryout expectation form in order to participate.

6th, 7th, and 8th graders can sign-up for interscholastic Cross-Country.  All students who have a physical on file may participate (no try-out) starting September 7 at Sanborn from 2:30-4:30. See our after school activities web page for more information.

Bus passes: Students who will be going to a friend’s house after school must have a note from a parent/guardian and from the friend’s parent/guardian.  There will not be bus passes written at dismissal.  All arrangements need to be made in the morning or during lunch.
