Monday, May 1-B DAY
The ELA and math MCAS will be administered TODAY for 7th and 8th graders. Students must make sure they arrive at school on time with a set of headphones and their fully charged laptops. Any student who does not have access to headphones at home, please check in with the main office right away. Please be sure to bring reading material to use while you are waiting for everyone to finish.
Art Club starts TODAY and will meet in Ms. Shea’s Art Room at Sanborn every Monday until 3:40 for six meetings. Everyone is welcome to stretch, explore and share! Sign-up sheets will be posted now through Tuesday April 25 outside the office at Sanborn and in the office at Peabody.
Pokemon meets today in the Sanborn FACS room from 2:30-3:40.
PEER MENTORS: Anyone interested in being a peer mentor next year must fill out an application (even if you are a returning mentor). The link to the application can be found on the library website:

May 15th; any 6th or 7th grader can submit an application (you do not have to have participated in the program this year to apply). If you have any questions, Sanborn students should contact Mrs. Stockwood; Peabody students should contact Mrs. Echmalian.
Chef’s Club: Sign ups for Chef’s Club will be taking place from Tuesday, May 2-Thursday, May 4th. Sign up sheets will be by the office. Our first meeting time will be Thursday May 11th from 2:30-4:30 in the Sanborn FACS room. We will meet for 4 Thursdays, May 11th, May 18th, May 25th and June 1st. Only sign up if you can attend ALL 4 Thursdays!! There is room for 20 students: 10 from Sanborn, 10 from Peabody. Students will be RANDOMLY picked from the list of students who sign up. Thanks!!
Volleyball meets again on Wednesday, May 3rd and Thursday, May 4th at the Peabody gym. Take bus 14 at dismissal. If you don’t walk or take the bus, please have a ride arranged to meet you at Peabody at 4:30 on those days.
