ALL students are invited to come to Sanborn mod 2 TODAY from 2:30-4:30, for the first meeting of our newly formed RISE student group. RISE stands for Race, Impacts, Society, Empowerment and is for all students who want to talk about race, religion, culture, ethnicity and creating an inclusive, diverse community at CMS.
Animals and Planet Club meet TODAY (and every other Wednesday) from 2:30-3:40 in the Sanborn Main Lab . Plan to take the 3:40 late bus or have a parent pick you up at 3:40.
MADNESS IN THE LIBRARY continues… Introducing Division 2 into the Book Tournament! Come to the library or go to the library website for details and to submit your ratings. Your name will automatically be entered into the November raffle for each submission
Coats for Kids meet TODAY in the Sanborn FACS room until 3:30.
Try-outs for 7th and 8th graders interested in interscholastic basketball will be held from 2:30-4:30 beginning on Monday, December 4. All students who want to try-out must: sign-up on the sheet posted by the office, make sure to have an updated physical on file with the nurse, complete and hand in the try-out expectation form (on the website) attend try-outs and have a ride/take the bus home at 4:30.
The try-out schedule is as follows:
12/4: girls at Sanborn, boys at Peabody
12/5 & 12/6: no try-outs (early release and conference day)
12/7: boys at Sanborn, girls at Peabody
12/8: girls at Sanborn, boys at Peabody
12/11: boys at Sanborn, girls at Peabody
Coaches will determine practice locations starting on 12/13.
12/18: home game hosting Acton
12/21: game @ Carlisle
12/22: no practice
Model UN will meet again in Sanborn 203-204 on Thursday, 11/16 from 2:30-3:40. Please pay attention to the announcements regarding the assignment of countries for the Bentley University Conference in March 2018. We have also posted the topics for the Bentley Conference on Google Classroom.
The Media AV Club next meeting will be Thursday November 16th from 2:30-3:40. We will be learning about video camera techniques and working with two professional video cameras. That evening at 6:30 members of the Media AV Club are invited to help video record the Band Informance at Sanborn.
The Concord Kauai Club will not meet this week.
Yearbook meets every Monday and Thursday in room 205 until 3:40.
Magic the Gathering meets on Thursday from 2:30-3:40 in room
Student Leaders are hosting a Fall themed drawing contest starting today through November 17th. All grades are welcome! Please submit your drawings to the library to win a $5 gift card to Bedford. Thanks from Student Leaders!!
