Friday, November 3- B DAY

Last day to donate candy: CMS students can bring in their unused/unwanted Halloween candy to a bin located in the main lobby of either school. The candy then gets packaged (with toothbrushes) for United States Service men and women. A local dentist’s office packages the candy for the troops and matches the total pounds of candy that our school brings in and donates the same amount of HEALTHY food to a food pantry of our choice.

Lego Robotics meets today in room 108 from 2:30-4:30.

ATTENTION 8th Graders!  Ms. Scalzi is holding two Yearbook informational meetings on Monday, November 6 and Thursday, November 9 in Sanborn 205 from 2:30 – 3:40.

Model UN will meet again in Sanborn 203-204 on Thursday, 11/16 from 2:30-3:40.  Please pay attention to the announcements regarding the assignment of countries for the Bentley University Conference in March 2018.  We have also posted the topics for the Bentley Conference on Google Classroom.

Fashion Club sign ups have begun.  Six students will be randomly selected from the sign up list at Sanborn, and six from Peabody. ONLY sign up if you can make it to all 5 meetings.  We meet in the Sanborn FACS room on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30. First meeting will be on Thursday, November 9th. We will then meet Nov. 30th, Dec 14th, Dec 21st and  Jan 4th. Sign up sheets are located in/by the office.

Dungeons and Dragons meets again on Monday, November 6 in 102 from 2:30-4:30.

Minecraft Club meets again on Monday, November 6 in the Sanborn Computer Lab from 2:30-3:40.  Come join if you are interested in group 3D gaming with Minecraft software. There will be several themes throughout the year and many challenges that could include treasure hunts, minigames, and design challenges. See Ms F-D at Sanborn if you have questions.
