May 19, Principal’s Update

Dear CMS Families,

I hope that everyone has enjoyed the warm weather. It certainly feels like May now!

8th grade Public Works Field Trip is Wednesday, May 24 from 8:15-12:30.  Please be sure to bring in your permission slip to the office by Monday. All 8th graders will start at Sanborn. Since the cafeteria will be closed, please make sure you pack a lunch.

We will be posting preliminary schedules for next year’s 7th and 8th-grade students to the Aspen portal by 12:00 pm Monday. An email will be sent explaining your student’s schedule. There will be a Google Form linked within the email to fill out if you notice anything missing from your child’s schedule.

Next year’s CCHS freshman schedules will be posted to the Aspen Portal this afternoon. Schedules will not have classroom or teacher assignments. Some schedules may have errors on them. Students will be able to schedule appointments to make necessary changes with a high school counselor. They will sign up for these appointments with their CMS counselors. Final copies of schedules will be sent out over the summer.
