May 12, Principal’s Update

Dear CMS Families,

Earlier this week CMS 6/7/8 Grade Jazz Band traveled to Reading High School to compete in the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators’ Junior Festival. Both bands were awarded Silver Medals for their exceptional performances. Additionally, 6th Grade Bassist Anne McGarry was awarded MVP in her division. Congratulations to Anne, her fellow students as well as Chris Noce and Paul Halipany.

8th Grade Families: On June 6, all parents/guardians who have children enrolling at CCHS in the Fall of 2017 are invited to attend a program on transitioning to high school. The evening is designed to give an overview of what to expect as a first-time student and to answer any questions.

The majority of MCAS testing has been completed. There are a few makeups for individual students to complete next week. Thankfully, we are returning to a regular schedule.
