April 28, Principal’s Update

Dear CMS Families,

Congratulations and welcome to Justin Cameron who will become the next CMS Principal on July 1. At that time, I will return to my role as Assistant Principal of the middle school. It has been an honor to serve as principal of CMS this year and I look forward to continuing my work in Concord next year.

I want to follow up to yesterday’s email regarding “13 Reasons Why” with a link to a Talking Point Resource about the show that will help you discuss issues that might arise as a result of viewing the show.

This week students enacted the school’s latest anti-discrimination/awareness campaign. Students in both buildings responded to the prompt, #wechallengeyou to fight discrimination and create a more positive community by creating their own response I will _____. Student responses can be seen on the school’s PTG donated monitors.

We have had a very smooth beginning to our MCAS testing. Please ensure students get a good night’s rest the night before they test.
