Dear CMS Families, Justin Cameron, our next principal spent Thursday at CMS touring the buildings, meeting students and staff. It was good to have Justin join us for a day before he starts in July. Dear CMS Families, I hope that everyone has enjoyed the warm weather. It certainly feels like May now! 8th grade Public Works Field Trip is Wednesday, May 24 from 8:15-12:30. Please be sure to bring in your permission slip to the office by Monday. All 8th graders will start at Sanborn. Since the cafeteria will be closed, please make sure you pack a lunch. We will be posting preliminary schedules for next year’s 7th and 8th-grade students to the Aspen portal by 12:00 pm Monday. An email will be sent explaining your student’s schedule. Dear CMS Families, Earlier this week CMS 6/7/8 Grade Jazz Band traveled to Reading High School to compete in the Massachusetts Association of Jazz Educators’ Junior Festival. Both bands were awarded Silver Medals for their exceptional performances. Additionally, 6th Grade Bassist Anne McGarry was awarded MVP in her division.
