Pokemon meets today in the Sanborn FACS room until 3:30. High fives to math team for a huge win Thursday at Lincoln. Our team crushed the competion making this our third win of the season. Concord also took home 5 top scoring students. Eighth graders, Rachel Dettelbach, Alan Chen and David Roos all scored 16 out of a possible 18 points. Lucas DeGreef was the top scoring 7th grader with 16 points and Ben Megan top scoring 6th grader with 16 points! Way to go team, we are so proud of you! Baseball/Softball tryouts continue today at Sanborn from 2:30-4:30.

India Day will be held during ​7th grade ​social studies classes on April 12 (Peabody) and April 13 (Sanborn).  We are very grateful to the volunteers that offer this opportunity for our students. ​The Concord Free Public Library will host “An Evening of Indian Dance and Music” on April 12th  at 7pm.  Here is the link to the library’s event listings . Let’s welcome Muhimn Al Darawisha to our 7th grade at Sanborn.  Muhimn will follow Mac Bobo’s schedule for today. Tennis is held every Monday and Thursday from 2:30 – 4:20pm.  Take (route 1) at dismissal to Rideout Field from Sanborn. You must have a ride at 4:30 because there are no buses. Dear CMS Families, Due to the recent snow day, we needed to make changes to the MCAS testing schedule. While it is unfortunate to have to make additional changes, we want to ensure that the schedule is balanced regarding what academic classes are missed due to testing, somewhat spread out and not having too many students testing at the same time between the buildings. Barring any more disruptions to the schedule, these will be final. Here is a link to a flyer regarding Concord Clean Up beginning this weekend. Dear CMS Families, Interviews for the next CMS principal were conducted this week. News regarding next steps will be shared with the Concord community shortly. We have reviewed all of the feedback from students, parents, faculty, and support staff about the Amplify Science pilot. While we saw real strengths in the curriculum’s approach to teaching scientific writing and concepts through real-world scenarios, the science department has unanimously decided that, as a whole, Amplify Science is not the best fit for our students. From this point on, teachers will be drawing from a number of sources (including Amplify) to finish out
