Wednesday, April 26 – E DAY

The ELA MCAS starts TODAY.  Students must make sure they arrive at school on time with a set of headphones and their fully charged laptops.  Any student who does not have access to headphones at home, please check in with the main office right away.  Please be sure to bring reading material to use while you are waiting for everyone to finish.

Minecraft meeting scheduled for TODAY has been cancelled. We will meet again on May 10, 17 and June 14.

Chef’s Club:   Sign ups for Chef’s Club will be taking place from Tuesday, May 2-Thursday, May 4th. Sign up sheets will be by the office.  Our first meeting time will be Thursday May 11th from 2:30-4:30 in the Sanborn FACS room.    We will meet for 4 Thursdays, May 11th, May 18th, May 25th and June 1st. Only sign up if you can attend ALL 4 Thursdays!!  There is room for 20 students: 10 from Sanborn, 10 from Peabody. Students will be RANDOMLY picked from the list of students who sign up. Thanks!!

Volleyball meets again TODAY at the Peabody gym. Take bus 14 at dismissal. Meeting dates are Wed 4/26, Wed 5/3, Thur 5/4. If you don’t walk or take the bus, please have a ride arranged to meet you at Peabody at 4:30 on those days.

Animals and Planet Club meets TODAY​ from 2:30-3:40 in the Sanborn Main Lab. Come join us​to learn about and help local shelters and organizations who help people, pets and endangered animals.

7th & 8th Grade Spring Dance has been rescheduled for Friday, April 28th from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Sanborn Cafeteria.  Tickets are $10.00 each and only sold at the door. Also, there will be a Boston bus leaving Sanborn @ 9:00 pm going to Franklin Park. Please sign up in the office if you are interested in taking the bus.

Art Club starts Monday, May 1 and will meet in Ms. Shea’s Art Room at Sanborn every Monday until 3:40 for six meetings. Everyone is welcome to stretch, explore and share! Sign-up sheets will be posted now through Tuesday April 25 outside the office at Sanborn and in the office at Peabody.
