Sign-ups for interscholastic softball, baseball, and track will be posted in the main office from 3/13 – 3/31. Any 7th or 8th grader interested in participating must sign-up and have an up-to-date physical on file with the school nurse. Track practice begins Wednesday, April 5, at Sanborn (weather permitting). Students trying out for baseball or softball must also complete a try-outs expectation form. Attention all 8th Graders interested in Freshmen Football at CCHS. Coach Robichaud will be coming to Sanborn TODAY at lunch to discuss the Football Program. Congratulations to John Griffin! John has been notified by the National Geographic Society that he is one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2017 Massachusetts National Geographic State Bee. April is Month of the Military Child! The CMS PTG is spearheading an effort for our school community to partake in this special celebration which is a legacy of former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger. Established to underscore the important role children play in the Armed Forces community, and to honor their unique contributions and sacrifices on behalf of our country, each April is designated as the Month of the Military Child. Our plan is to recognize military children in our CMS community, as well the 270 military children who attend the middle school at Hanscom Base in Bedford. During the
