Magic the Gathering meets today in room 102 at Sanborn from 230-3:40. Pokemon meets today in the Sanborn FACS room from 2:30-3:40. Creative Writing meets today in room 104 at Sanborn until 3:40. Green Team will meet this Wednesday, March 22nd, from 2:30-3:40 in Ms. Shea’s art room at Sanborn.  If you have questions please ask Ms. Shea or Ms. Moran. 7th & 8th Grade Spring Dance is on Friday, March 31 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Sanborn Cafeteria.  Tickets are $5.00 each and only sold at the door. Also, there will be a Boston bus leaving Sanborn @ 9:00 pm going to Franklin Park. Please sign up in the office if you are interested in taking the bus. Intramural Tennis will begin on April 3rd, (weather permitting) at Rideout Field in West Concord.  All levels are welcome. There is Seussical stage crew today after school until 4:30.   No lighting crew.  The full cast will meet in the cafeteria. TODAY Media AV Club will be helping prepare for the CMS Musical “Seussical!” Please join Mr. Rivenburgh in room 119 (the Orchestra Room) at Sanborn from 2:30-3:40 where we will do the following. 1) Learn how to operate body mics,2) Download sound effects for the show, 3) Mark a Script for the Sound Engineer. Intramural Tennis will begin on April 3rd, (weather permitting) at Rideout Field in West Concord.  All levels are welcome. Anyone interested in participating should plan to attend a tennis meeting after school on Thursday, March 30th in the Sanborn cafeteria. Plan on taking the late bus home. Tennis is held every Monday and Thursday from 2:30 – 4:20pm.  Buses will take you to Rideout Field from Sanborn but you must have a ride home at 4:20pm. Sign ups are posted in the main office. Sign-ups for interscholastic softball, baseball, and track will be posted in the main office from 3/13 – 3/31.  Any 7th or 8th grader interested in participating must sign-up and have an up-to-date physical on file with the school nurse.  Track practice begins Wednesday, April 5, at Sanborn (weather permitting). Students trying out for baseball or softball must also complete a try-outs expectation form.  The form can be downloaded from the website and turned in at the main office on or before April 5. LIBRARY MARCH MADNESS – WEEK ONE  is drawing to a close! Ballots will be accepted through noon on Friday.  You can vote for: – Week one brackets – the winner of each book pair will advance to week two. – Predict the Champion: Enter your guess for the champion book. Attention all 8th Graders interested in Freshmen Football at CCHS. Coach Robichaud will be coming to Sanborn TODAY at lunch to discuss the Football Program. CCHS Football includes kids of all levels of abilities, and welcomes those who have never played before. Come learn more about the Football Program and see if it could be right for you! Congratulations to John Griffin! John has been notified by the National Geographic Society that he is one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2017 Massachusetts National Geographic State Bee. The contest will be held at Elms College on Friday, March 31, 2017. Intramural Dodgeball has begun. We meet every Monday and Wednesday and on a few Thursdays at Peabody. April is Month of the Military Child! The CMS PTG is spearheading an effort for our school community to partake in this special celebration which is a legacy of former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger.  Established to underscore the important role children play in the Armed Forces community, and to honor their unique contributions and sacrifices on behalf of our country, each April is designated as the Month of the Military Child. Our plan is to recognize military children in our CMS community, as well the 270 military children who attend the middle school at Hanscom Base in Bedford.  During the
