The Concord Police Department will be sponsoring RAD self-defense class for 7th & 8th grade females. RAD or Rape Aggression Defense program is a realistic self-defense program teaching risk reduction and avoidance strategies, including hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. RAD consists of four classes using simple and easy to learn techniques, providing an effective and proven method of self-defense for females. RAD classes will be held on Monday March 27, 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, Tuesday March 28, 6:30-8:30PM, Wednesday March 29, 6:30-8:30PM, and Monday April 3, 6:30-8:30 PM.
