Congratulations Math Team on a successful meet last Thursday. Our fearless leaders scored second, just 8 points behind our rivals Sudbury. Teammate Edward Shi was a top scoring 8th grader with a perfect score of 18!! Excellent work by all! Dear CMS Families, Happy December!   If you pick up your child at the Sanborn Building directly after school, please do not use the side parking lot. This will help us keep students safe and ensure that buses and faculty are able to exit quickly if needed.   Thank you in advance for your help with this. The Department of Secondary and Elementary education has published our annual school report card. Dear CMS Families, Last week I published the incorrect dates for upcoming chorus performances of the 6th and 7th/8th grade performances. They have been corrected below. 8th grade families, Washington DC deadlines are approaching.  Information sheets are due November 30. Minuteman High School in Lexington is looking for feedback from Middle School families on interest in their child(ren) participating in an Afterschool Career Pathway Exploratory Program, possibly to begin this Spring. Lego Robotics meets every Thursday and Friday in room 110 at Sanborn from 2:30-4:30. The MIT Science field trip is Saturday, December 3. We will leave Sanborn at 9:00 am and return to Sanborn at approximately 1:30 p.m. Pick up an information and permission form is in the office.This month’s focus will be Physics and will be presented by MIT’s Women of Physics. Lunch can be purchased at the MIT Student Center. Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend. The CMS Orchestra students will be joining the Concord Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, December 4.
