November 11, Principal’s Update

Dear CMS Families,

The firm organizing the search for our next superintendent has put out a letter and survey for families. Please consider providing input on the characteristics that you would like to see in the next superintendent.

Next week’s Principal’s Coffee and all those following will be for all grades.

We shared this message with students Thursday:

Good Morning, Concord Middle School. We are taking a moment this morning to recognize Veteran’s Day which officially falls tomorrow. It is a day for our nation to come together and pay respect to those who fought and died to protect our way of life.

As we all know two days ago, citizens across the United States participated in electing our future president as well many others who will take part in governing our nation. While this election cycle was both heated and divisive for many, we at CMS will continue to engage each other with respect and understanding in and out of classrooms. We will continue to celebrate our differences as well respect a diversity of views. This diversity is a facet of strength for our nation. We will honor that as we do our veterans who have helped to get us here today.
