Though it was a weekend, things were busy at CMS: Over 30 students traveled with Mr. Shattuck to the Framingham State College Christa McAuliffe Center to participate in the Mission to Mars exhibit, and the set crew for this year’s musical, The Little Mermaid held a construction day. High fives to the Math Team on a successful meet in Framingham yesterday. Our fearless warriors tied for first against our arch rival Sudbury (GRR)! Despite sharing first place, Concord had the most top scorers of the competition! Charles Crounse (8th), Rachel Dettlebach (7th) and Lucas DeGreef (6th) were the top scorers in their respected grades. Of the three, Charles had a perfect score of 18! WAY TO GO TEAM! Practice next Thursday. Same time, same place. WINTER DANCE DECORATING COMMITTEE 6th and 7th graders: Interested in helping with decorations for the Winter Dance? We will be doing crafts, making posters, setting up, and having fun! Come to our session after school TODAY to help out! Please take the late bus or have a ride home after we are finished. We should be done at 4:30pm. Dungeon and Dragons meets for the last time TODAY.. Math Counts is cancelled TODAY. Our next meeting is on Friday, February 26th to start preparing for Purple Comet. ( http://purplecomet.org/ ) It’s an international competition with no cost and no travel. 6th and 7th Graders: Come to the Winter Dance for snacks, dancing, and fun!
