THIS WEEK’S UPDATES: Congratulations to the Rubik’s Cube Team and coach Ms. Katsaris! The eight-member team placed third out of the 11 teams attending the New England Regional Competition at Sanborn, solving 25 cubes in just 3 minutes, 44 seconds Saturday morning. The team also boasts two individual award winners: True Becker earned 1st place solving the cube in 17.9 seconds, and his brother Tate, a 5th grader, earned 3rd place finishing in 27 seconds. Good Evening! Here are a few recent updates that I hope are of interest to you: A.L.I.C.E. Assemblies have now been completed for all CMS 6th and 7th graders and for 8th graders that are new to our community. Thank you to Concord Police Detective Scott Camilleri, our school safety officer, for presenting to all students, providing helpful information about this aspect of our emergency procedures, and for answering student questions. Dear CMS Families, For a short week, an awful lot has gone on at CMS! Huge Thank You to the CMS PTG Not only did they provide a delicious lunch for CMS staff today during our professional day, they also received school committee approval on Tuesday for a gift to CMS in the amount of $7,686 to procure three TV monitors, players and mounts for the Sanborn and Peabody buildings. This will allow us to create a communication and student showcase similar to the one at CCHS. I will be seeking student involvement in creation of the content. World Cities

CMS Schedule Configuration Update Hello Everyone, It is great to be back! I missed the CMS community tremendously while recuperating. I have some very exciting information to share, but first want to extend enormous appreciation and thanks to Drew and Anne who each went over and above to lead CMS while I was out, and to Diana and Kristen who provided additional support to ensure that all community members were well cared for.
