Wednesday, March 7 -D DAY

6th grade St. Patrick’s Day Dance is this Friday, March 9 from 7:00 -9:00 pm @ Peabody. Tickets are $10 each and only sold at the door.

Dodgeball  starts today and will meet every Wednesday and Friday at Peabody from 2:30:4:30. Take bus 30 at dismissal. Everyone is welcome!!!

Intramural volleyball meets every Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 4:30 through March 29.  You don’t have to have volleyball experience, we’ll learn by playing! You also don’t have to come to every meeting.  People are busy, join us when you can. We meet in the cafeteria before going to the gym.You do need to sign up in the office when you plan to attend.  Please sign up by 2 o’clock on the day of a volleyball meeting. If you’re not on the list, you won’t be able to stay. Also, by signing up you need to stay for the whole 2:30 – 4:30 meeting.  Coming for part of an afternoon is not allowed​, unless you’re going to a teacher for extra help. If you’re going for extra help you need to have a pass from that teacher when you sign up in the office.

RISE meets  TODAY in mod 2 at Sanborn until 4:30.  All are welcome!

The next CMS Science on Saturday field trip to MIT is this Saturday, March 10. The bus will leave Sanborn at 9:00 AM and return around 1:00 PM. All CMS students, siblings, and parents are invited. Please pick up an information sheet in the Sanborn or Peabody office.

Art Club starts Wednesday, March 14 and will meet in Art Room 126 at Sanborn every Wednesday until 3:40 for eight consecutive weeks. Final roster is now posted.

All 7th Graders will be going through the state mandated SBIRT screening with the School Nurses. A parent email was sent out January 23, 2018, which explained the screening process.  The screening will take place in Directed Study classes.

Animals and Planet Club​ meets again  March 14 and every other Wednesday from 2:30-3:40 in the Sanborn Main Lab.  Plan to take the 3:40 late bus or have a parent pick you up at 3:40.
